Christmas Trail Competition Winner

Congratulations to Dean McConnell aged 12 from Slough on successfully completing the Christmas Trail around the centre and winning himself and his family tickets to Legoland Windsor!!

Cutie Pies Competition

Last month the QueensmereObservatory and Xpress Art ran their first Cutie Pie competition to find Slough’s most photogenic tots. The competition was run in partnership with Acclaim Photography and entrants were split into four age groups from 0 to five years. With so many great photos in each section the Centre's Management Team had a tough job choosing the winners.

The lucky winners in the 0-9 month’s category were; Ciran James Flanagan, Layla-Mai Blackwell and M Raja, in first to third place.

While the 10-18 months catergory saw Kamil Sal, Demi Wilkinson and Kayla Harvey, taking first, second and third place.

In the 19-36 month category the lucky winners were Abi Faran, Shahzadah Asif and Cherry Smith.

While the winners in the category for the older tots aged from 37 months to 5 years old the winners were the adorable Rueben Shoker, Sky Summer Mcgarrigle and Qwarlique Conteh.

A day at Royal Ascot

The QueensmereObservatory Shopping Centre has teamed up with Royal Ascot and Debenhams to ensure an unforgettable day at Royal Ascot.

Royal Ascot is a unique event in the summer social calendar, steeped in tradition, heritage and pageantry dating back almost three hundred years. It is without doubt the greatest race meeting in the world and a celebration of everything that is uniquely British.

For all who come each day is a special day. Wednesday is the second day of the five day meeting and includes racing of the highest calibre with The Prince of Wales Stakes being run on the day.

Mother's Day Portrait Competition

We are pleased to announce the winners of our Mother's Day Portriat Competition.

The QueensmereObservatory Shopping Centre offered budding artists the opportunity to create their very own personal portrait of their Mother for Mother's Day. The competition invited in local schools and we received well over 200 entries.

The winners are as follows:

7 - 9 Qurratul Ayn, aged 7 from St Mary's Primary School and Summer Rasul, aged 9 from also from St Mary's Primary School

10 - 12 Karansing Thapa, aged 11 from James Elliman Primary School

Each winner will recieve their portrait in a frame to give to their Mums on Mothers Day and £25 to spend in Game. The winners will also receive a pamper session and hamper from Debenhams and £20 Marks and Spencer voucher for thier Mums.

£100 was also giving to St Mary's Primary School for their amazing contribution to the competition!

The winning entries and 7 of the best entries can be seen below. They have also been displayed in the windows of what used to be Woolworths in the Queensmere, so come down and take a look.

The winners will be presented with their prizes on Saturday 21st March in the Queensmere.

We would like to thank all the schools that took part, deciding on the winners was hard work as all the entries were excellant.
