Christmas celebrations at QueensmereObservatory

with Cinderella’s Castle Grotto and Aladdin’s Cave

Cinderella’s Castle Grotto and Aladdin’s Cave will be coming to QueensmereObservatory to celebrate the lead up to the Christmas festive season.  The sumptuous sets will be unveiled on Thursday 15 November to coincide with the Slough Christmas lights being switched on by a mystery celebrity who will be announced nearer the time.

At QueensmereObservatory the enchanting fairytale of Cinderella will come to life complete with Fairy Godmother, Wicked Stepmother, the Prince and magical coach and horses.

Aladdin’s Cave will be brimming with delights and Aladdin will be entertaining shoppers with his Genie in the lamp and beautiful Princess.

Primark, TK Maxx, Debenhams, M&S, Argos, H&M, Empire, Footlocker and Next are among the stores at the centre where customers will be able to enjoy late night shopping in the period running up to Christmas.

Kevin Smith, the Centre’s Marketing Director, said: “With Cinderella’s Castle Grotto and Aladdin’s Cave we will be giving girls and boys a special Christmas treat at QueensmereObservatory. Audiences will be encouraged to meet and engage with their fairytale friends and enjoy the festive spirit.”

On Thursday 6 December Santa will arrive in Slough on his sleigh pulled by reindeers for the annual reindeer parade through the QueensmereObservatory.

“All the events and activities taking place at the centre are free.  Late night shopping at QueensmereObservatory will be the perfect destination this coming Christmas season,” added Kevin Smith.
