DIWALI CELEBRATIONS AT QUEENSMERE OBSERVATORY TUESDAY 28TH OCTOBER

Queensmere Observatory brought Diwali to life this half term with traditional entertainment for all the family.

Visitors were invited to come to the Centre from midday to celebrate the Festival of Lights with traditional forehead painting, story telling at Waterstones and a lantern making workshop. Magician, Ali Cadabera was also be entertaining everyone with his magical antics outside of Primark.

Toddlers also got involved in the celebrations too at the Centre’s playgroup, Toddler Tuesday, where they can colour in candles to take home with them.
