THE WEEKEND STARTS HERE

10 November 2008

Slough's premier shopping destination will be hosting a weekend of entertainment this weekend, with something for all the family to enjoy.

On Thursday visitors can come along and write their name and a personal message to a loved one to be immortalised on a new piece of artwork in the High Street. Artist Simon Watkinson, will be in the Observatory Shopping Centre from 9.30am.  To have your name immortalised bring your friends and family along to Primark to meet the artist.

On Friday you can come along to and listen to the angelic voices of St. Mary’s Primary School Children’s Choir.  The little songbirds will be located outside Primark between 10am and midday singing their hearts out to raise money for Children In Need.

As if all that wasn’t enough, from Friday until Sunday Mi-Shake, the home of hot and cold milkshakes will be celebrating the launch of their new store at The Queensmere with a Grand Opening Extravaganza!  There will be a Mi-Shake goodie bags up for grabs for everyone and Shakie will be handing out samples of just some of the 100 different flavours and crazy combinations that they offer.
